The SGF as part of its sports and entertainment education program educates and prepares the next generation of sports and entertainment industry professionals. The SGF also seek to educate the public and enhance their understanding and appreciation of sports and entertainment’s importance in society.

Our sports in education program contributes to improved academic, social and sporting outcomes for schools and their students by using sports as a context for learning and student engagement. Sport has generally been promoted for its positive impact on young people’s physical health. An increasing body of international evidence suggests that increased participation in sports and physical activity can also lead to improved academic and social outcomes, benefiting students, schools and communities.
